Sherry Keller earned an Associate’s Degree in Counseling and her CADC credential in 2006. Her experience includes serving as a Residential Support Specialist, DUI Counselor, Director of Recovery Services, and is now Substance Abuse Director at Braden Counseling Center. Her accomplishments include building strong therapeutic relationships with clients, applying motivational interviewing techniques creatively, managing DUI and substance abuse programs successfully, and training interns.
She has also completed Secretary of State documentation and Secretary of State updates that have helped dozens of individuals with revoked licenses regain driving privileges.
Sherry takes a person-centered, nonjudgmental approach with clients and staff and maintains positive relationships with attorneys in Kane, DuPage, and McHenry Counties. Her extensive experience will help strengthen and expand Braden Counseling Center’s substance abuse services.
She lives in Algonquin with her husband and two cats, who run the household. Braden Counseling Center will provide state-funded evaluations to eligible clients who are incarcerated, represented by a public defender, and subject to a court order.
