Alex Aguilar

Alexandra completed both her Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree through Aurora University, and is in the process of obtaining her clinical license. Alexandra emphasized her focus throughout graduate school within clinical focus of social work.

Alexandra has experience working, as an intern, within hospitals, and has worked as a Behavioral Therapist, within the last six years, through a non-profit organization. Throughout her work, she has worked with ages ranging from 4 years old and up, providing individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy.

Alexandra has obtained four trauma specific certifications, Child and Family Trauma Stress Intervention (CFTSI), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Structured Psychotherapy for Adolescents Responding to Chronic Stress (SPARCS), and Nurturing Families, throughout her career that has allowed for her to best support the clients she sees, and help educate individuals of how trauma has impacted their lives, or has played a role in presenting triggers they face.

Alexandra strives towards the goal of helping others learn how to help themselves, working with individuals to understand what is impacting them and how we are able to overcome presenting obstacles.

Alexandra is bilingual, speaking fluent Spanish and English.
