Katie Rogers

Katie is a master’s level Mental Health Intern from Indiana University’s School of Social Work. She completed her bachelor’s in social work at Aurora University in 2019 and spent 5 years working in the social work field before entering her master’s program. Katie has experience working with a multitude of populations, including individuals suffering with eating disorders, chronic psychiatric disorders, anxiety, depression, and individuals currently experiencing or the after-effects of domestic violence.

Katie’s passion is helping individuals who suffer from symptoms that stem from trauma learn the necessary skills to lead a happy fulfilling life. She utilizes several different treatment modalities with her clients, as she believes every client’s treatment should be individualized to the clients needs. Katie frequently utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, and strengths-based approaches with her clients. She operates with the notion that with a little compassion and validation, people can and will make great strides in their mental health journey.
